PM Shri Surya Eklavya Sainik School is a premier residential institution dedicated to empowering tribal boys through high-quality education with a strong military ethos up to the 10+2 level.
Managed by Surya Foundation under the Public–Private Partnership (PPP) model in collaboration with the Tribal Development Department, Government of Gujarat, the school was established in 2004 as Gujarat Govt. Sainik School and taken over by Surya Foundation in 2010. The visionary leadership of Padma Shri Jai Prakash Agarwal and the guidance of senior Army officers, especially Brigadier D.C. Pant (Retd.), helped transform the school into a center of excellence built on the pillars of Shiksha, Shaurya, and Sanskar.
Today, the school has a strength of 442 cadets. Each class has two sections of 40 students each, and English is the medium of instruction from Classes 6 to 12. The institution is recognized among the best in Gujarat for Academics, Sports, and Youth Development, consistently achieving 100% results in Classes 10 and 12 along with numerous achievements at District, State, and National levels.
