The School admission is primarily for the ST boys of Gujarat in 6th standard. However, the admission is also open for 25% seats for other categories students (Non ST) for class 6th to 8th on payment basis of Rs. 70,000/- for current year inclusive of lodging and boarding fees. The school fee solely depends on the discretion of the decision of the management and may be revised from time to time.
The admission of the ST students is carried out on the basis of the entrance exam, which is conducted by Gujarat State Tribal Education Society (GSTES), Gandhinagar in February / March every year. A merit list is released for the selected candidates for admission. Admission in Surya Eklavya Sainik School, Kherancha is only meant for meritorious boys who are found medically and physically fit.
