English is the medium of instruction from 7th Std onwards while it is Gujarati in 6th Std. The teacher is as effective as his/her tools of teaching and influencing knowledge and skills. Surya Eklavya Sainik School adopts following ways in teaching methodologies for effective learning.

Our methodology is based on visual and practical learning by doing experiments in various labs to help improve cadets’ skills and thinking abilities. Applying technology in the classroom, using Smart board and online collaboration tools engage our cadets for active participation in the classroom. Sometimes co-operative and enquiry based learning help to improve cadets’ problem solving skills as well as understanding of concepts. We have initiated Art Integrated Learning as well as Conceptualised Learning strategies to bring out the latent skills of cadets in the classroom.
