Field Marshal Manekshaw was Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army. As a very distinguished officer, he fought the World War-II, Indo-Pak War and Sino-Indian War. He was the architect of Indo-Pak War 1971 which dismembered Pakistan and Bangladesh was created. He was also awarded Padma Vibhushan.
